This product is light yellow or yellow crystalline powder.
Tetracycline antibiotics. Doxycycline reversibly binds to the receptor on the 30S subunit of bacterial ribosome, interferes with the formation of ribosomal complex between tRNA and mRNA, prevents the extension of peptide chain and inhibits protein synthesis, so as to rapidly inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria. Doxycycline inhibited both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Bacteria have cross resistance to doxycycline and oxytetracycline. Oral absorption is rapid, less affected by food, high bioavailability, strong tissue permeability, wide distribution and long maintenance time of effective blood drug concentration. The protein binding rate in pigs was 93%.
